Ateno is located in a neoclassical building from 1831 on Odos Aiolou, in the center of Athens.
This particular space is ideal for what we wanted Ateno to be, a restaurant where we rethink Greek cuisine and cook it with a modern eye.
First we are friends and then partners or associates. Ateno is the result of an idea that had Nikos Karathanos, chef of Ateno, Spyros and Vangelis Liakos, entrepreneurs who have changed the facts in catering with restaurants such as Basegrill, and Kostas Tranoulidis also with many years of experience in space.
